Wine

"Wine is something wonderful! Try to detect and taste something of what the person who made it has hidden in it."

Simon Brown, 1862.

The Wine

Many thousand years, people have been harvesting grapes and fermenting them into wine. In the beginning, this happened rather randomly, both in the fermentation process and in the result. Over time, the various insights gained from biology, chemistry and technology have made it possible to produce ever better quality wines.

Quality promise

For us at Simon Brown there is no doubt: quality grows exclusively in the vineyard. Our aim is to ensure that juicy, ripe grapes are fermented carefully and sensitively using only the necessary technical aids and that each wine is given the time it needs to mature. Because a high-quality wine always shows its own character in colour, aroma and taste. It is characterised by the terroir in which it has grown and the people who have shaped and created it with their ideas.
