The Whisky-Distillery Tamnavulin is situated in the small town of Tamnavoulin, directly at the Livet, ravishingly beautiful in an incredible landscape. The Name imply “mill on the hill” and relates to a wool combing company in past times. The distillery was founded in 1966 and works with 3 wash stills and 3 spirit stills.
Intensive golden colour - markedly aromatic in the bouquet, it remembers to heath-herbs, peat, oak and a hint of fruit - light and smooth impression on the palate with fresh and fruity fragrances and a note of juniper - aromatic aftertaste of medium length.
