Product information "Simon Brown Miltonduff Malt Whisky 28 years 0,50l"
The Miltonduff Distillery was founded in 1824 by Andrew Peary and Robert Bain on historical grounds. A Benedictine abbey, the Pluscarden abbey was built a couple of hundred meters from the distillery today. In mediaeval times they breaw beer, perhaps they distilled. The distillery is situated in Miltonduff, south-west of Elgin and works with 3 wash stills and 3 spirit stills. The water comes from "The Black Burn".
Concentrated golden in colour - the bouquet is complex, floral with hints of peat, toffee, honey and vanilla - the medium body Miltonduff develops ductile, with a definite and elegant style, a breeze of oil and malt - the aftertaste is fine and ripe.
