Product information "Simon Brown Glen Ord Malt Whisky 0,70l"
The Glen Ord Distillery is situated at Muir of Ord on the peninsula of Black Isle, Ross-shire. Glen Ord was founded in 1838 by Robert Johnstone and Donald McLennan. The distilley is owned by Distillers Company Limited, today named Diageo, works with 3 wash stills and 3 spirit stills. The water comes from Loch nam Bonnach and Loch nam Euan.
Stramineous in colour, swinging in the tumbler - lightly sweet entrance in the nose, aromas of white fruits, like pears, grapes and plums, with a hint of peat - seems to be pur and honest on the palate, full but delicate with marks of spice and peat, good balance between aroma, extract and alcohol - lovely and soft aftertaste.
