The Fettercairn Distillery is situated at River North Esk a the foot of the Cairngorms in the East Highlands. Founded in 1824 Fettercairn is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and nowadays produces with 2 wash stills and 2 spirit stills a highly distinguished Single Malt Whisky. The distillery uses water from springs in the Cairngorms.
A gleam of gold in the glass – appetising impression in the nose, gentle aromas of nut, peat and smoke – a keen, well balanced development of the taste with memories of nut, toffee, oak wood and smoke – long-standing, fragrant and pleasant aftertaste.
