The story of Dailuaine Distillery begins with its foundation by Mr. William Mackenzie in 1852. Between Ben Rinnes and River Spey, in a green valley, the distillery is not far from Charlestown of Aberlour. The distillery refers the fresh water from Balliemulich and Green Burn. In 3 wash stills and 3 spirit stills a fine malt whisky is distilled.
Golden in colour – delicate sweet scent in the nose, characterized by pear, honey with a trace of malt and wood - a touch of sweetness also on the palate, complex aromas, characterized by nuts and grain, traces of spices, roasted aromas and peat - interesting, fine and gentle finish with length.
