Auchentoshan Distillery is situated in Old Kilpatrick in West Dunbartonshire. The distillery works with 3 stills: 1 wash still, 1 intermediate still and 1 spirit still. The triple distillation is very rare in Scotland and the distillery is one of only a few distilleries in the Central Lowland Area.
The whisky is golden in colour - a smell of citrus fruits in the nose, hints of minerals oil and wood - the body seems to be lighter, with aromas of delicate fruits, minerals, oil and wood - complex finish of medium length.
