The South African Shiraz, dark, intense purple colour - a fruity scent of ripe, dark berry(-fruit) in the nose - full-bodied, powerful with pleasant tannins, fruity on the palate, aromas of ripe raspberries and cherries, combined with fresh black pepper, traces of vanilla and truffle - excellent with grilled lamb, venison or Cheshire cheese.
