Tomatin was established in 1897 and is situated at the northern hillside of the Grampians. The distillery is working with 23 stills and one of the biggest in Scotland. The Tomatin Malt isn't that complex, but very tasteful, appetizing, clean, with a lightly malty sweetness and a hint of smoke - medium bodied and smooth, a little sweetness, ginger and dryness on the palate - full finish.
