Simon Brown Cognacs are selected from the famous Domaine Dominique Chainier. The distillery is situated in Arthenac, Petite Champagne and owns round about 40 ha of vineyards. Dominique Chainier is pressing his wine-grapes very carefully, so he doesn't get tannins in the juice and the fruitiness remains. After the double-distillation, the cognac matures many years in oak casks of 400 l.
The Domaine is producing Single Distillery Cognac, means all Cognacs are produced in one distillery. The Very Supérieur Old Pale is more than 8 years old and appears amber coloured in the crystal glass - very elegant, delicate and nutty in the nose - full in body and intensity, smooth and finesse on the palate, with a longer finish.
