The town of Aberlour is situated in the heart of speyside and the distillery is named after it. The first documentary mention is dated back to 1826, but the distillery seems to be a lot older. The distillery is noted for its pristine cleanliness and fastidious attention to detail.
The 1991 Aberlour is brilliant golden in colour - shows aromas of malt, spices, mint and a lot more - powerful on the palate with an astonishing mild taste.
